Crespina, a comune in the province of Pisa, from 1 January 2014 merged with Lorenzana to form the new municipality of Crespina Lorenzana.
Celebrates its Patron Saint Michael the Archangel on September 29.

The first news about Crespina amounted on August 16 983 and refer to the Bishop of Lucca, which was located in the castle of Santa Maria a Monte, (part III of the Volume V of the memoirs of Lucca), who writes the Radia "allivellò the goods of the parish church of S. These residences became a meeting place for other artists less wealthy but guests at various times of the year like Giovanni Fattori, Silvestro Lega, Telemaco Signorini and many other macchiaioli as Cannicci and Cecconi.

In Crespina in 1911 was born, the painter-sculptor Anchises Peaks which was recently named a street, friend of Luigi Gioli.
